About Us

     On February 29, 2008 Mike and Reva Sheffield of Paris purchased Elk Fork Campground from Jody Slawson and Frank Thompson. They have added new campsites, offering them for lease on a yearly basis. Limited primitive tent camping is also available and rented by the night. There is also a shower house on the property. They have also added some new services to the convenience store & bait shop, enlarging the inventory and including debit/credit cards in their acceptable methods of payment Mike & Reva have been married 52 years. In addition to the campground they have recently retired from owning & operating Mike's Body Shop & 24 HR. Wrecker Service & Classic Car Restoration for nearly 40 years in this area. Reva is a Independent Beauty Consultant with Mary Kay Cosmetics. Mike and Reva are also long time area Herbalife Nutrition Products Distributors.            

 Their son, Mike Jr. lives in the farm house at the campground, providing full time management of the property. He shares his parent's appreciation for the beauty of Mark Twain Lake & its great fishing and hunting and water fun.
Mike Jr. is a graduate of Phoenix Institute of Technology and was an auto body tech and wrecker operator at the body shop for over 25 years.
